In 2023, the department of data science was established. To glean insights and knowledge from data, the Data Science department is an interdisciplinary curriculum that blends aspects of computer science, statistics, mathematics, and domain-specific expertise. The knowledgeable faculty members run and outfit the department. In order to keep up with current events related to the data science field and its applications in the teaching-learning process, the department hosts technical competitions, workshops, seminars, and symposia.
VISION
To foster comprehensive student development in Data Science, emphasizing ethical
principles, core values, and technical expertise. To provide a robust theoretical and practical
foundation across Data Science disciplines, with a focus on data analysis, machine learning, and
artificial intelligence. To integrate cutting-edge innovations and emerging technologies in Data
Science education, preparing students for the dynamic demands of the industry.
MISSION
To inspire and empower students and faculty to continually enhance their technical
proficiency in Data Science. To develop data-driven professionals who are ethically grounded,
technologically adept, and capable of solving complex real-world problems. To create an
environment that nurtures critical thinking, hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of
